Description
Josef Pierre Nuyttens gouache. Titled “The Chicago River.” Probably made around the 1930s. Depicts the river with the famous Wrigley Building in the background. Size is about 6X4.5 inches. With the gorgeous wooden frame it is 11.5X9.5 inches. Very decorative. He was an illustrator in Chicago. He even illustrated some of the Frank L. Baum Wizard of Oz books. His Chicago scenes are the most sought after and the most iconic of all. A rare gem to add to any serious art collection.
