Drawing is usually a method of art to create a sketch, or a preliminary piece for a much grander concept an artist has in mind. It can also be related to a sketch art style.

In other words, it is the formation of a line by drawing some tracing instrument from point to point of a surface. It can also be a  representation by lines and a delineation as distinguished from painting.

Drawing Art is an essential part of human artistic expression for thousands of years. Since cave drawings to our actual times, drawing is always related to our cultures and forms of life.

The famous artist Vicent Van Gogh  kept a sketchbook and drew some very important projects and influential pieces like “Chair”.

A drawing can include such mediums such as pastel, ballpoint pen, pencil, charcoal, graphite, and even pastel.
